OUR CAMPAIGN MISSION
As your Fire Commissioner, I am committed to protecting what matters most—our families, our first responders, and our future. Drawing from over 16 years of frontline experience in both fire and law enforcement, I bring proven leadership, public safety expertise, and a deep-rooted connection to our community. My mission is to ensure Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue remains a model of excellence, accountability, and readiness. Together, we will support our responders and build a safer tomorrow for every resident of our district.
MY BACKGROUND
As a career public servant, I have spent over 16 years protecting and serving the public - as a firefighter, police officer, and currently as Deputy Fire Marshal and Fire Commissioner. My background in emergency response, fire prevention, investigations, and law enforcement gives me a well-rounded perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing modern fire service. I also serve on my fire department’s union executive board, where I advocate for the well-being of our firefighters.
I’m a devoted husband and father of two daughters, a multi-season softball coach with Sky Valley Little League, and a board member at Monroe Christian School. My wife shares a commitment to public service through her role as a Civil Service Commissioner. Together, we are deeply rooted in and dedicated to our community.
I bring tremendous passion to this position and a clear vision: to help Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue become a world-class fire department that leads in innovation, transparency, professionalism, and community trust. I believe in data-informed decision making, responsible budgeting, and investments in personnel and infrastructure. It’s been an honor to serve since March 2025, and I respectfully ask for your vote to continue advocating for excellence in service, safety, and stewardship.
